Fit After 65 is a diary of sorts. After losing my mother and brother to lingering illnesses, I changed my lifestyle because I didn't want to spend my final years wasting away. So at the age of 68, I introduced an exercise routine into my daily schedule, and I promised myself I would stick to it. I have. Now, I'm not only in the best physical shape of my life, but my cardiologist tells me he wants to be like me when he turns 70.

There are lots of books on aging, what we can expect as we grow older, and the benefits exercise has on managing our health as we grow older. Most of these books are written by people who AREN'T OLD: they tell you what to expect based on "data", but they don't tell you what you'll feel or experience as the exercise begin to positively affect your life.
